We had the wonderful privilege of hosting a lot of people last week! It was so fun to visit with each and every one of the folks who came.
First off, we had 3 members of the Jones family. They are filmmaker friends of John-Clay, who live in Texas.

We so enjoyed having Robert and Esther Staddon! They came all the way from Chicago and West Virginia for a wedding. (Robert helped with the photography)

And, of course, you all heard about the Bontragers’ visit from Iowa.
The long distance award goes to the Cabreras from MEXICO! This sweet family hosted us when we went to Mexico as a family 2 years ago. Since then their daughter, Itzel, got married and had a baby. She now lives in Virginia.

Peach Festival

That’s right, folks, it’s time for Stratford’s annual peach festival again! Games, contests, vendor booths, helicopter rides, peaches :) , and of course the highlight of it all is….OUR homemade peach ice cream!! :)
People line up in the blazing summer heat to get a taste of this cold, creamy, delicious-tasting stuff. We’d love to have you stop by and sample some. But you’d better hurry, because we usually sell out by early afternoon!
Be praying for us as we run our booth. Our goal is to be able to connect with more people in the community and be salt and light to those around us! “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Oh, and if you want to see buckin’ broncos, calf roping, steer wrestling, the wild cow ride, barrel racin’, and ragin’ bulls…Stratford’s 75th rodeo is being held this weekend, as well. Yehaaawww!

Fun with the Bontragers!

We had such a great visit with the Bontrager family!! They arrived Monday evening and left early on Wednesday. Tuesday night, the concert went very well, and there was a good crowd. Enjoy the pictures!
They sang together beautifully!
