The B’s

Our family-drawn by Maggie

Josh. 24:15  “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

World traveler!

Hannah left early this morning, Oct. 27, for a 20-day trip to southeast Asia. Here is some information and a note from her on how you can be praying.

The COMMIT team I’m traveling with (affiliated with IBLP) will be holding two girls’ conferences in Malaysia, and I would be very grateful for your prayers as I take this opportunity the Lord has given me!
The ages of the girls I will be teaching range from 6-15 years. I can’t help but think of the tremendous impact these girls can have in the coming days, as shining lights in this darkening world. My desire is that the truths we share with them will set them free from "weights" that are hindering them in their walk with the Lord, so that they can be that shining light! Please hold me up in prayer and be a part of the mighty work that God is going to do.
Prayer Requests

For me:
-To walk humbly and fearlessly with God in all that He calls me to do
-To love without hypocrisy
-To spend time at the feet of Jesus, even when everything gets crazy
For the team:
-Unity of purpose and heart as we minister together
-Be filled with the Holy Spirit and open to all that HE wants to do
For the conference attendees:
-Truth to fall on good ground in their hearts and bear eternal fruit
-Know the love of God for them personally
-To go away changed
Most of all, pray however God leads you! He knows best what we need and right when we need it. :)

What do you do

…when you’re with crazy cousins???

Steal their hats.

Go fishin’.

Get stuck in the mud.

Waaaay to go, Ab.

Ride a motorcycle that’s not quite your size.

Look innocent.

Caleb, Jeff, Benjamin, Abbie, Mat

Or not.

Caleb, Jeff, Benj, Abbie, Mat

Attempt to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together.

Result: smoke and a blackened board.

Mat, Abbie, Caleb

Laugh a lot.

Then, when the cameras are put away, you play Sardines in the dark. ;)

What can we say? We love family. :)

The End.

As you can see, we enjoyed a wonderful time together camping in Sulphur! Aunt Nanner came part of the time, along with Granny and Granddad (Mom’s parents from Tulsa) who came down on Friday and spent the night-which was a thrilling surprise!!! Dad’s parents also came over and fished for a while. The Lord opened up the opportunity for us to have a church service there at the outdoor amphitheater, and several other folks joined us, which was a blessing! It was so fun to be in the great outdoors and enjoy God’s creation!

Ribbons from the State Fair

Carinna and prizes in the fair

This year was very successful at the Oklahoma State Fair! Congratulations to Carinna and Dad!

Carinna and prizes in the fair

Carinna won 1st place and Best of show in the junior division with her caterpillar oil painting . She also won 3rd place in the adult category with her horse drawing!

You did a great job, Carinna! (Thanks to Grandma for the art lessons.)

Dad won second place with his jar of comb honey! We sold out of all our spring honey, but we hope the bees will get busy so we’ll have some fall honey. :)

Looking forward to next year’s fair (and hopefully more ribbons!)

P.S. We are headed out today for our annual family camping trip. See ya’ll later.
