San Antonio, TX – CWVFF

The 1st annual Christian Worldview Film Festival was held this March in San Antonio, TX. John-Clay was one of the 33 speakers at the guild and he had a part in 5 of the films that were entered. So, with that brief history, our family drove the 7hrs down for the closing ceremonies and presentation of the awards last Saturday! Our family has been pretty scattered this month so we were excited to be all together and take a trip for the weekend!

We got to meet lots of great people John-Clay has worked with this past year and see some familiar faces again too!

John-Clay’s Haiti project won best Promotional Film and Awakened won Best Documentary!

Sunday morning before we headed home, our good friend and host while we were in TX, treated us to a delicious breakfast at IHOP.

We had a great time! It was neat to go and be able to support John-Clay and see the impact God has given him on so many lives in the filmmaking world!

Random update in the life of the Burnett’s

It is exactly one week till spring…and boy does it feel like it!

The peach trees are just about to bloom!

Charity and I planted some onions and lettuce a couple weeks ago…

Benjamin and I transplanted three five year old peach trees several weeks ago. They were in the way of the new add on. Hopefully they’ll survive!

Some of the Dornink’s came down for a bit the end of February…

Playing Pit!!! It got super loud. :D

Hannah and Melody

Playing Baseball

Benjamin and Josiah

We went down to see my Great Aunt Frieda before she moved to Colorado the beginning of March.

Poor deprived Benjamin, all he has is a pair stilts for skis.
Very creative idea though!!!

And last but not least here’s how the add on is going…They broke ground!!!

Happy Spring Ya’ll!
