Labor Day…

Sep

Did you know the first Labor Day holiday was
celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City?
Well, 134 years later, we celebrated it again.

Getting in some SMASHING games of Catch Phrase. SmileIMG_1476

Psalm 128:2  “For thou shalt eat the labor of thine hands:
happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.”

We didn’t grow this watermelon, but someone worked for the money that bought it!

Dad is extra thankful this year, because he has a job again!
He just started working as a chaplain at a nearby hospital! God is so GOOD!
He does things in His own PERFECT timing.

How blessed we are to be able to get out of bed each day!
Blessed to breathe, have energy, and purpose to live!
That gives us reason to smile while in the middle of any job!

Colossians 3:23
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”
